About the job

We are looking for a bold, outgoing person, who is highly motivated by bonus incentives to help our Sales team grow KDL’s logistics business.   A dynamic personality with a drive and comfort level to reach and interact with decision makers is essential!  This would be performed through phone, email, and other social outlets, such as LinkedIn, with the primary goal of scheduling an introduction between the prospect and the KDL Sales Team.  You will be provided with a pool of pre-qualified leads fitting our target client, consisting of up-to-date contact information. The right candidate will be successful in establishing a dialogue with C-Level, VP executives – ask some specific questions to survey their need, create comfort with the prospect and set a meeting for a KDL Sales Team person to run with the opportunity.  The experience and training gained in this role will become an excellent foundation for further growth within the company.

Job Functions:

  • Work a specified list of pre-Qualified Leads
  • Call and Email Decision Makers – Engage C-Level and Executive contacts
  • Able to be friendly while asking a series of questions to Survey Need / Interest
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education Requirements:

2+ years of Telesales experience – not necessarily industry specific

High-school diploma or equivalent – college degree a plus

Experience Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Office products with a strong emphais on Outlook, Excel and Word.

Education Requirements:

Two or Four year degree or at least 12 months industry experience

We are looking for an pricing analyst to assist with prospect and existing customer analysis and other RFP/Proposal support.

  • Analyze prospect/customer shipping data
  • Present findings to Operations and Sales team members
  • Create customer proposal documents
  • Build, Load, and test pricing profiles in Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Create TMS user logins for clients and KDL team members
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products with a strong emphasis on Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Time Management: Has the ability to multitask and prioritize daily job duties
  • Strong self-starter who actively seeks additional responsibility, sets high performance standards and routinely exceeds what is expected
  • Looks at how things are currently being done and is able and willing to contribute to the process to make improvements when needed.

  • Must have good analytical and organization skills
Education Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED. Industry experience a plus
