The Claims Process

Please see the below instructions for submitting a claim. Click the “Start Your Claim” button once you are ready to start.


Once all required items are provided to KDL, your claim will be filed with the carrier. Depending on the carrier and details of the claim itself, this process can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 90 days to get a response from the carrier. KDL follows up on all open freight claims weekly. We issue automated claims reporting that will provide a summary of your open freight claims. If you would like to be included on this report, please contact KDL’s Customer Service Team (customerservice@kdlog.com.) Once/if a claim has been approved and the carrier check is received, KDL will then issue funds. If a claim has been declined, you will receive an email from KDL advising the reason for declination.
